Interaction with farmers through its Biopesticide Programme for the promotion of Organic Agriculture in Nijoy Chapori, Majuli with the help of NGO Kristir Kothia towards the goal of the AdapNET Project under ERASMUS+
We have reached the remote corner of Bijoy Chapori, Majuli with the help of NGO Kristir Kothia towards the goals of the AdaptNET Project under ERASMUS+. About 30 local women farmers have participated in the 10-day training programme from Nov 26, 2021 to Dec 2, 2021, on “ Integrated Farming Alternatives Towards Climate Resilience”. Prior to this, the farmers in this region never had any such training programmes and shared their gratitude. They are also keen on more such trainings in future.
