AdaptNET

The E-Lab was funded by the EACEA of the European Union which is a state of the art facility for E-learning and much needed advanced online classes of recent times. The E-Lab is integrated with an E-learning Portal (BigBlueButton) to deliver classes to students connected to the server. The E-Lab was established at DBT-NECAB, AAU in late 2019 and is fully functional from 2020.

The E-Lab is fully equipped with All-in-One desktops and laptops with facilities for Audio/Video interactions as well as for research activities of students, research scholars, and faculty. The E-lab has MF Printers, Projectors and minor equipment like wireless headphones for productive online sessions. The E-lab has a dedicated server for its e-learning Portal BigBlueButton at DBT-NECAB which is functional and accessible from anywhere in the world.

Availability and Guidelines

• Entries must be recorded in the Log-Book before use of E-Lab equipment
• Personal/research data must not be stored in the E-Lab systems
• Data must be saved on cloud or Google Drive or transferred via email
• Use of external storage devices (Flash/Pen Drives or USB sticks or External Hard drives) is prohibited
• Master Trainers may store their work and data in specific systems Passwords must not be saved and accounts must be signed-out from before leaving the systems
• Windows accounts must be signed out prior to shutdown of the systems. If Update appears for Windows/PC in the Shutdown option, then click Update and shutdown
• Cleanliness inside the E-lab is mandatory. Trash must be discarded in dustbins only. Hand sanitizers must be used while handling E-Lab equipment
• No food item is allowed inside the E-Lab.
