Climate Resilient Agriculture
Course Code: ABT-560
Objective: To make the learners aware of the climate change issue with respect to its extent and impact. The learners will also acquire knowledge about various means to mitigate climate change impact on agriculture and allied sectors.
This course was formulated at AAU in collaboration with AdaptNET, EU project partners from Europe and India. The course aims to make students and research scholars future ready to Climate Change and its impact on Agriculture. This course will be offered every Semester trough online mode only in which students and research scholars both can register. The course will witness instructors from different departments of AAU like ABT, Agrometeorology, etc. along with European and Indian instructors of AdaptNET. The registered students will beg grades as per their evaluation at the end of the course and the registered research scholars will be awarded certificates upon successful completion of the course.
